DO

• seal your natural stone every 2 to 3 years to keep its beauty. Be sure to use a sealer that is appropriate for your type of stone tile.
  
• keep the tile clean from debris and dirt. This can scratch your tile and take away the luster and shine.
  
• use floor protectors under furniture legs to prevent scuffs and scratches.

DON’T

• Use a scouring pad or steel wool to clean your natural stone tile. This may scratch and damage the surface. Use a cleaner that is recommended for your tile.
  
• Leave messes sit. Be sure to clean any spills promptly to prevent staining. Use a soft cloth to blot the spill and mild cleaners for more harsh spills such as acidic juices or alcohol.
